Backgrounds

I don't share much work which I actually do at school right? Right now we're creating a premise for an animated TV series. We have to make a script, get a 30-second fully animated scene and show some progress artwork like model sheets, style frames and backgrounds. My role is the Art Director and I'm in charge of the backgrounds as well. I'll have a history with spacial design due my past studies. You might see me making designs and drawing characters a lot but for animation-wise I think my ambitions lie with the design of worlds and environments. So this is a great exercise. The show is about a normal person living in a Chernobyl-like town with immortal mutants. 

The images below are a combination of different technique and brushes, some of them are first drawn on normal paper and then edited in Photoshop and other ones are completely digital.
